Contacts and abuse reports
For questions about the Service, write to info@walkielink.app.
Reporting abuse
If you receive illegal messages or files, threats or harassment, or see Walkie Link used in breach of the Terms of service, write to abuse@walkielink.app with:
- the personal code (16 characters) of the person responsible and, if you know it, their nickname;
- the approximate date and time;
- a description of what happened and, if you like, screenshots;
- if you are directly involved, a way to get back to you.
What we can and cannot do
Walkie Link is built so that not even we can see what you exchange. So, in all honesty:
- we cannot read or recover messages or files: they do not go through our server, or only go through it encrypted, and we do not keep them;
- we keep no logs: we cannot tell who is behind a code or where they connected from;
- we cannot delete a message or file from someone else's device.
What we can do is review every report, reply to you, take the technical measures available against unlawful use of the Service and cooperate with the authorities within the limits of the little data we have.
What you can do right away
- Block the person in the app: you will no longer see their requests.
- Keep the evidence: the conversation stays on your device; take screenshots before deleting it.
- If it is a crime (threats, blackmail, child sexual abuse material, fraud), contact the police in your country; in Italy, the Postal Police (commissariatodips.it) or any police or Carabinieri office. The evidence on your device is what matters.
- In case of immediate danger, call 112.
Requests from authorities
Requests from judicial and police authorities should be sent to iDev S.r.l. at idevsrl@pec.it. We assess them and respond in accordance with the law. The server keeps no content, access logs, IP addresses or codes: as a rule we have no data to provide.
Point of contact
These contact details are also the single point of contact for users and for the authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act). You can write to us in Italian or English.
